Holcim US Names Ruiz as President, CEO

The board of directors of Holcim (US) Inc., a manufacturer and supplier of cement and mineral components, has named Filiberto Ruiz to serve as the company’s president and CEO. Ruiz’s appointment also includes serving as president and CEO of Aggregate Industries US, a Holcim Group Co.

Additionally, Bernard Terver, currently a member of the Holcim Ltd. Executive Committee, formerly president and CEO of Holcim (US) and Aggregate Industries US, has been named chairman of the board.

Ruiz has served as the company’s deputy CEO since August 2012 and has been with the company for more than 26 years, holding a range of general management, manufacturing and sales and marketing positions both within and outside of the United States.

Terver has been president and CEO of Holcim (US) since October 2008 and Aggregate Industries United States since 2010. He has more than 30 years’ experience in the cement and mineral components industry both in the United States and internationally.

MMC Contractors Names Coppinger as President

MMC Contractors has named Dan Coppinger as president of MMC Contractors' Las Vegas office (MMC Contractors West Inc.). Coppinger will be responsible for business management and operations in the Las Vegas office as well as helping achieve overall strategic goals for the MMC Contractors nationwide brand.

Coppinger started his career as a sheet metal apprentice more than 30 years ago. From there, he moved up to foreman, superintendent, and then transitioned into management. After helping start the southwest division of Southland Industries in Las Vegas, he spent the last 10 years there as the VP and division manager.

Kelly Joins Norse Building Products


Allenton, Wis.-based Norse Building Products, manufacturer of the Rockstep and Pro Line Stone Veneer announce that Richard Kelly has joined the company as national sales and marketing manager. Norse says Kelly has a strong background in the building material industry, with his most recent position as national sales manager for Bodyguard Wood Product and Spiderlath Inc.

Boral Stone Names Bonilla as Area Sales Manager, Rocky Mountain Region


Boral StoneProducts LLC has appointed Emily Bonilla as Cultured Stone manufactured stone area sales manager for the Rocky Mountain region. As part of the Western Region of Boral Stone, Bonilla will spearhead the company’s sales efforts for the Cultured Stone manufactured stone veneer product in a territory covering the greater Denver market.

“We are pleased to have Emily Bonilla join us as Rocky Mountain Area Sales Manager,” says Dennis Merino, VP of sales with Boral Stone Products. “Her knowledge of the Cultured Stone product, combined with her experience in the greater Denver area will go a long way in helping grow our market share in this region.”

Bonilla previously worked as a Cultured Stone area sales manager when it was part of Owens Corning. Prior to joining Boral, Bonilla was a sales representative for Boise Cascade in the greater Denver market.
